An excellent article and A new kind of school is flourishing amidst towering hemlock, spruce, birch, maple and pine trees in Meadowville. A trail into the woods leads to a ‘tobacco tree’ that reminds participants they are on unceded Mi’kmaq lands and are encouraged to practice gratitude.
