It was a beautiful sunny and successful first day of fall programming at Pictou County Forest School. Happy for the sunshine as our large canvas tent is a little slower to arrive than we had hoped. Our new platform under the hemlocks made a good gathering place however.
Two amazing new staff, twelve students in our Foxes group, a visit from Billy MacDonald of Friends of Redtail Society, animal tracking, hammock time, hiking, games, learning, and sunshine made for a great day. We are excited to welcome our Wolves group tomorrow.
Registration for our SECOND SESSION will open on Tuesday, September 14th. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for a registration link. We will be in touch directly if you have already contacted us and are on the waiting list.
